Travel Scuba North arranges a number of group scuba travel opportunities during the course of the year.

We regularly book Caribbean dive destinations such as Cozumel, St. Kitts, Guanaja, Bonaire, Bahamas, Roatan, Dominica, Turks and Caicos, Belize, and Utila, as well as Pacific destinations like Truk Lagoon, Palau, and more. We also arrange domestic dive trips to places like Tobermory, North Carolina, Florida, and Bonne Terre.

Our group rates are lower than internet prices, and include far more, with most trips including meals, transfers, and taxes typically not included in other packages. In most cases, a Scuba North representative will accompany the group on their trip, and will work to assure that everything goes smoothly. These are not guided tours where you must follow a set itinerary; they are footloose and carefree vacations set up for your diving enjoyment.

Truk Lagoon / Palau – April, 2013

April 7 to 14, 2013 – Truk Lagoon

April 14 to 21, 2013 - Palau

Start planning now for the trip of a lifetime. 1 week aboard the Odyssey, diving the WWII shipwrecks of Truk Lagoon, then travel to Palau for one of the top diving destinations in the world. Palau has everything – reefs, walls and wrecks, along with the world famous jellyfish lake.

The Odyssey has consistently been rated one of the top liveaboards, and Truk Lagoon may very well be the worlds top wreck diving destination. Beautiful corals and fantastic fish life are also present. More details will be coming soon.

Local Shipwreck Diving Charters
Scuba North offers shipwreck diving charters to the Manitou Passage for beginners. The depths are shallow (0'-45') and visibility is generally good. These all day charters are fun for divers of all levels.
*Summer 2012 charter opportunities will be posted soon.

For beginning to intermediate divers, we offer charters to Lake Charlevoix. The depths are a little bit deeper (35'-65') and more of the shipwrecks are intact. The Keuka and the Elizabeth II make for excellent dive sites, and attract many divers to the area.

For more experienced divers, Scuba North has charters to the Straits of Mackinac. The shipwrecks are generally larger, and the depths are often deeper (40'-130'). Sites vary widely, depending on the weather and wind conditions. These are normally half-day charters.

For those divers who can show a history of training and diving in deep, cold conditions, there are the well-preserved shipwrecks of Whitefish Bay in Lake Superior. The water temperatures normally flirt with 40º F, and the depths range from 50'-165'. To dive on our Whitefish Bay charters, divers must show verification of experience.

Regularly scheduled trips to the wreck sites run on a weekly basis throughout the dive season. Scuba North can arrange for a wreck diving experience for any group of 6 who wishes a personal charter also.
